Savage develops and operates materials management and transportation systems in support of railroads and rail-centric applications and solutions, including supporting customers in the chemical, refinery and other industries. Through our relationships with CSX’ TRANSFLO group, the Union Pacific, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Canadian National Railway and other Class 1 railroads, we own and operate a system of rail-to-truck, or truck-to-rail, transloading operations which handle a wide variety of liquid and dry chemicals, food products and construction materials

In addition, Savage is a major operator of industrial rail switching operations in over 30 locations in the United States and Canada. These industrial rail-switching applications feature ownership and operation of locomotives, car movers and track maintenance services, in support of railroads and industry.
